I truly thank you for the honest and truthful way in which you responded to my somewhat “piqued” mood at apparently not realizing that the Platinum offer was truly finished.

As you said, so many “supposed guru’s” out there, say it is finishing in 24 or 48 hours, then you go back weeks later and its still there!

I humbly beg your pardon Martin. I did at that time put you in the same “basket” which I now know is not true in anyway at all.
I do truly apologize for “assuming” you were of the same “ilk”, even though I had read you about me piece.
Makes me wonder how many actually believe what I write now, and I do try always to be totally honest and above board. I really can’t stand under-hand ways and some of the subject lines nowadays like, “you’ve recieved a $3000 check from Paypal” etc, etc they are so un-fair to new people just beginning on the Internet.

I don\’t mind your comment at all, and to be honest I was expecting more comments like this about VTC, but there is a very good reason for this.

I\’m not your typical marketer that says things like \’Limited Offer\’ and then leaves it up forever. The free Platinum was always going to be a limited time offer, so I had to change it back to Gold at some point.

When you log into VTC I\’ve added a comment on that page that the Platinum offer ended, and what it now is. However, the problem with that, is that a lot of ads are out there that are still promoting the Platinum account, and I can\’t alter many of them because they\’re not my personal ads. All my personal ads have been changed to reflect this, as has the VTC affiliate tools section.

So, it\’s because I try to be as honest and upfront as possible that this situation has arisen, because the Platinum was a genuine limited time offer. I hate those marketers that tell you there are only a certain number of positions available, or are time limited, but when you go back much later they\’re still saying the same thing. It\’s misleading and dishonest.

However, what I am doing is honouring anyone that joined from one of those Platinum ads and giving the Platinum account, so you\’ll probably find that when you log in next your account will be Platinum, not Gold. I\’ve also added 20,000 ad and mailing credits to get you started.

I\’m not in this business to rip people off and pride myself on my honesty and integrity, but sometimes being honest can get you into trouble as well

This is a serious objection I am making here.
I received and email this morning re traffic generation site type marketing.

That Sir is FALSE advertising and is illegal by law.
